I made my co-workers cookies yesterday. I made flourless peanut butter chocolate chip with sea salt. They all really liked them! I sort of feel like they like me more now. Whoever said you can't win friends, men or strangers over through their bellies never had someone bake for them before.
I somehow lost the battle with my immune system and caught a little cold. Ugh. I've been fighting it by sweating it out on slow runs, drinking a ton of tea and getting extra sleep. I will defeat you head cold.
Before work today I stopped by the farmer's market to pick up some granola and a honey crisp. I know I could make my own granola...but there is a joy in buying it at the farmer's market.
Tyler and his boyish self found some mushrooms on his way to work today. He brought them to work, but he's also bringing them home! I'm excited. I've never had Chicken mushrooms before.
Since I'm craving Mexican food, I feel it is necessary to post some random pictures I found on the Internet in preparation to cure my craving tomorrow.
I always seem to crave Mexican food every two months. I can't think of any other food I want when I crave it. Once I do, I'm good to go for another 2 months. Happens with sushi too.
