I adore the change of weather. I feel those cool crisp fall mornings coming. Is it time for everything pumpkin yet? I better hold off until October, or I'll be tired of pumpkin by mid September. I think I am more excited about apples and delicata squash. I'm also ready to start wearing chunky scarves. I think I am going off topic, but what's new.
I thought today would be a grand time to update you all on my life as of late. The little things that have been going on since I don't typically spell out my daily life to you every single day.
I'm still madly in love. I am sure you could already tell.
How can you not be in love when you find notes like this:
I've been eating oatmeal like a boss. Low sugar strawberry jam has been my favorite mix in. Sometimes I keep it simple with a little agave and a sprinkle of salt.
Tyler and I have been catching up on the awesome folks at Perennial Plate. About 3 years ago, I donated a little money to this awesome guy/chef who wanted to travel the U.S. to meet farmers and cook local foods via farm dinners. It's been three years now and he not only did that, but also took a road trip all around the U.S.
If you have never heard of this guy or you've never watched his journey. PLEASE DO. It will change your life and way of thinking. I promise.
Pretty flower!
I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner last night. A sweet potato stuffed with an egg, agave and sunflower seeds. It was pretty darn tasty. I just wish I had a little greens to go with it. I am one of those people that eats by color.
My workouts have been pretty random, yet not random at all. I've been running outside with a lot of hills. I haven't really focused on my pace as much as my breath and how I feel. A couple days a week, I do a lot of intense core workouts with the medicine ball, but thats really it. I take two days of rest each week. I think it gives me more energy and motivation than only taking off one day.
My abs have not changed at all. I'm guessing the only way to change them is stop eating carbs and eat less...but who wants to do that?
