"I'M FREAKING OUT"

I can't even find the words to describe how giddy I got reading all of your comments from my last post.

You all are incredible! One thing that truly touched me was that you all like my style of blogging and my balance in life. Being myself and sharing my life on this blog has made it fun for me to write. I tried doing the whole "what I eat and what I did at the gym" thing, but I was actually getting bored with myself!

So thank you to everyone who has never or rarely ever commented. I feel much much closer to you guys now.

Awwwww let's eat. (even though I just told you I don't like sharing my daily eats)

I took this pretty picture of my lunch yesterday. Egg, hummus and horse carrots. I cooked this egg in the  microwave in a small bowl for 35 seconds. Easy as pie. Mmmm pie.

The other day in my History of Asia class we had a tea tasting. It was a delightful interlude to a long timeline of Chinese history.
green, oolong and something i can't remember, but it tasted like wood.
Our tomato plant is thriving. I picked two yesterday. I almost bit a chunk right after picking it, but notice 5 weird looking beetles on it...

Our lemon verbena and basil has grown into a gorgeous adult. Can you believe they started as baby seedlings in my old dorm room?? If Tyler and I can raise plants these well....we're going to raise some healthy kids.

 Tell me something.

If you got a text that says "Don't freak out, but I'm at the hospital", what would you do?

Well I FREAKED OUT when Tyler sent that to me yesterday morning.

I immediately texted him (because I was in class) asking why and that I was going to faint.

His reply "I just cut my finger, I just need one little stitch".

20 minutes later he tells me he needed SIX stitches and sent me these photos.

Yeah, one stitch alright.... Pour guy. He went right back to work too.

Weird thing is, I have a scar on the same finger from cutting it too. It must be a common finger to slice as a cook.

Well, I'm off to the gym to try some new moves from this Shape Magazine article
