Whoever said it was okay to make New York 99 degrees with 95% humidity deserves a large timeout.
Not fair I say. Not fair.
So today is the first day of my "However long I last Juice Fast". I don't plan on doing it longer than three days.
I read that it's important to ease yourself into a juice fast a couple days before. Including off of coffee...
Folks, this was not an easy task. Yesterday I had zero coffee, a nut bar for breakfast, leftover chicken greek salad for lunch and a large juice for dinner.
I ran 4 miles in the morning and proceeded to sweat in my apartment for the rest of the day. My headache started around 7pm last night and lasted all night.
I do believe my weening process is over
This morning is officially Day 1!
I know I was supposed to have juice for breakfast, but I don't think I could ever last a whole day without some form of protein.
For breakfast I blended almond milk, a banana and a scoop of Vanilla Sun Warrior Protein.
It is so hard not to have a nice cup of coffee. It has made me realize that I am truly addicted to caffeine! Maybe this juice fast will allow me to stop drinking coffee? Just maybe..
I am in fear for the rest of my day really. I have never lived off liquid. Nor have I ever had this much juice. I am also on summer break so my days are not busy which may lead me to thinking about food and how hungry I am. Yikes!
Oh and as far as working out...I don't think I could run during this fast. Instead I am going to attempt a few hundred ab workouts today and then some push ups tomorrow.
