salt + pepper roasted chickpeas

I had a bunch of canned chickpeas just hanging around my fridge chatting it up with the almond milk and peanut butter. To be honest, they had really lame jokes and no one wanted them in the fridge anymore.

Ready for a throwback? I know, roasted chickpeas have been a trend for quite some, but I mean....sometimes you just need a little reminder how good they are.

Proceed to uncontrollably munch when they come out of the oven......

4 cups of chickpeas
drizzle of olive oil
generous sprinkle of salt + cracked black pepper

To do:
1. Toss chickpeas in oil, salt + pepper. 
2. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour. 
3. Allow to cool
