eggs in avocado

I'm not going to take credit for the brilliant idea to bake an egg in an avocado, buuuuut I will share my first experience making and eating it.

Avocados are definitely nature's butter. Soft, creamy and full of great fats and vitamins. Baking an egg in it, serve it with toast and bacon and well just died and went to heaven.

Step One: Scout out firm but ripe avocados at the store. Carefully slice in half and remove the seed.

Step Two: Slice a little bit off of the back so the avocado sits up right on a pan.

Step Three: Using a small spoon, scoop out a little bit of the avocado, to make a slightly bigger hole.
                    (Eat the excess avocado immediately)

Step Four: Separate an egg yoke from the egg white. Place the yolk into the whole of the avocado

Step Five: Bake in a 375 degree oven for 5 minutes or until the yolk just begins to set. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Step Six: Have a handsome man fry you bacon.

Step Seven: Remove all but on teaspoon of bacon fat from the pan. Slice a few pieces of bread and place the bread in the same pan as the fat. Toast bread on both sides.

Step Eight: Enjoy every moment of every bite.

Mmmmm the perfect start to the weekend.
