A Nice Run to Work Up a Large Appetite

for the Thanksgiving feast that I will be enjoying in DECEMBER.

That's right. I will be working today. We'll be serving up a shmancy style Thanksgiving meal for the people who'd rather dine out today.

I am VERY excited however, because my mom is going to make a full on Thanksgiving feast for Christmas.

I went on a nice chilly run this morning. I loved seeing all the families and couples walking and running. Even though I was a little jealous...

I came home to create a bowl full of yum.

Fage, apple butter, cranberry butter, vegan pumpkin mousse and apple granola with an apple.

Oh and I thought you should know.....

I wore men's running pants this morning.

Happy Thanksgiving!

What's a tradition you do for Thanksgiving?

If I am eating thanksgiving meal....it MUST have peas. I don't know why....

  2. My tradition: Always try new and unchartered recipes, have something go terribly wrong, recover just before everything is done, and enjoy eating and laughing about said errors.

  3. Always make sweet potato pie. YUM!

  4. I tried making everything new one year...until I realized the best thing about tradition is mom's yams and dad's gravy...

mmm I've never made sweet potato pie! I bet I would LOVE it though.

  5. I don't understand why everyone feels the need to drown their thanksgiving food in lard- why eat a green bean casserole with some artery-clogging sauce and fried onions (from a can?) when you could just eat beautiful farm-fresh green beans?
